COCO IS COMING TO THE CASTLE
Armen Garo is remembered by most as the menacing Salvatore "Coco" Cogliano on HBO's The Sopranos, the Lupertazzi soldier who got fresh with Meadow and found out what Tony Soprano does about that. On Saturday, November 14, he's signing at CastleCon.
A HOLLYWOOD CAREER
Armen has appeared in two Best Picture winners, Martin Scorsese's The Departed and CODA, sharing the Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast for CODA. He's also in The Wolf of Wall Street, American Hustle, Woody Allen's Café Society, HBO's Vinyl, Dexter: New Blood, Wu-Tang: An American Saga and Gotham, and he played Det. Lt. Gillardino in Showtime's Brotherhood. You've probably seen him in national commercials too, for AT&T, Nike, GEICO and the X Games.
ONE OF OUR OWN
Armen served the East Providence Police Department for 30 years, retiring as a lieutenant. He trained at Trinity Rep Conservatory in Providence, was the New England Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion from 1978 to 1982 under Rhode Island's George Pesare, and is a ninth-degree black belt. He has also served as honorary chair of Make-A-Wish Rhode Island. After three decades serving East Providence, CastleCon is a hometown show for him.
FREE AUTOGRAPHS AND PHOTOS
Armen's autographs and photos are free with your CastleCon ticket, and we'll have 8.5×11 photos at his table for him to sign. Bring your Sopranos box set or anything else you'd like signed, too.
