The experience
The part of the castle that stays open latest
The arcade and billiards rooms keep going after the amusements shut for the night. On a Friday or Saturday that means midnight, which makes this the room where an evening actually finishes.
There are two ways to play. Time Play gives you unlimited play on participating arcade games for a fixed block of time — thirty minutes for $20, an hour for $30 — which suits anyone who wants to stop counting. Classic Arcade Credits work the traditional way, in tokens, and are what you need for ticket redemption, prizes, crane and claw machines, billiards and bowling, none of which are covered by Time Play.
The billiards room is a genuinely good one: full-size tables with enough space around them to play properly. It sits alongside the Silver Stone Tavern, which is why a lot of adults come to the castle without children at all.
Open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, long after the amusements close.
