The experience
Three lanes, lit up, and nobody sitting out
Neon Bowling is duckpin-style: the balls are small enough to hold in one hand, there are no finger holes, and the pins are shorter and squatter than the ones you are used to. That combination is the whole point — a five-year-old can bowl a full frame without help, and an adult who has bowled for thirty years still will not find it easy.
You get three rolls a frame instead of two, which keeps everyone in the game, and the lanes run under neon so the whole room glows. Three lanes means a family or a group of friends can take the lot and settle in.
It is $7 a person, paid with tokens on an arcade card — the same card the billiards room and the crane machines use. There is no admission fee to get into the castle and no wristband to buy, so you pay for the bowling and nothing else.

Every guest needs a signed waiver
Sign it online before you arrive and walk straight in. One waiver covers your whole visit, and a parent or guardian signs for anyone under 18.

Neon Bowling questions
How much is bowling, and how do I pay?
Seven dollars per person. You pay with tokens on a Classic Arcade Credits card, which you can load online or at the counter. An unlimited arcade Time Play card does not cover the lanes.
What is duckpin bowling?
Smaller, lighter balls with no finger holes, and shorter, squatter pins. You get three rolls a frame instead of two. It is far easier to pick up and surprisingly hard to master.
How many lanes are there?
Three, running under neon. A group can take all three.
Is it suitable for small children?
Yes — that is the advantage of duckpin. The balls are light enough to hold in one hand, so young children can bowl a full frame without help.
Is there an admission fee?
No. There is no general admission charge at the castle. You pay the $7 for bowling and nothing else.
Can I book a lane for a party?
Yes. Tell us when you inquire about a party or private event and we will build the lanes into your booking.
How late is it open?
Until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 10:00 PM Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.
